I recently came across a number that really stuck with me.

On Udemy, the world’s biggest course platform, only about 5% of students finish the courses they buy.

That doesn’t surprise me. My own numbers tell a similar story.

People start with good intentions, but when it’s all self-paced and on-demand, it’s easy to fall behind.

No real-time feedback on progress. No one is pushing towards success.

Now, on-demand courses are great as references.

You can learn a lot from them — if you actually watch, practice, and keep going.

However, most people lack that kind of motivation when learning alone.

Even if you do all the right things with an on-demand course, not getting feedback — or getting it too late — slows progress down and sometimes even prevents people from reaching the success they’re aiming for.

That’s why learning directly from someone makes such a difference.

When you can ask questions, see things demonstrated live, and get instant feedback — those small roadblocks that normally stop progress just disappear.

It’s the same reason the traditional classroom model still works, even though you can find almost everything online.

Direct interaction and feedback create accountability.

That’s what helps people actually learn and follow through.

So tomorrow, I’m opening a new Audacity Mastery Training.

It is a 5-week small-group program that helps you transition from unsure to confident in using Audacity for voiceovers, audiobooks, or podcasts.

Here’s how it’ll run:
🎧 One class each week for 5 weeks
🗓 Main class: Tuesday 7 AM PT (9 AM CT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM UK / 4 PM CET)
🔁 Repeat class: Friday 7 PM PT (9 PM CT / 10 PM ET / 3 AM UK / 4 AM CET on Saturday) — same topic taught again live for those who can’t make Tuesday
📼 Everyone gets the replay link afterward

I’ll share the purchase link tomorrow.

The regular price will be $299.

If you already know you’d like to join and want an early booking discount, simply reply to this email with: “Send me the purchase link early.”

And I’ll make sure you get it before anyone else.

Talk soon,
Akhtar

P.S. This training program is for those who want to learn Audacity well enough for purposes like professional voice-over, audiobook narration, podcasts, and content creation.
