What benefit 3rd Party plugins provide over Audacity?

Have you ever wondered why professional voice-over artists use paid plugins?

At first glance, it makes no sense!

A 100% free option like Audacity exists and has all the necessary effects to fix common audio issues.

Audacity also has the required enhancement effects to improve the sound. For example:

So why do they spend on paid plug-ins? Either the audio processed with paid plugins sounds better than Audacity.

Or Paid plugins offer something that Audacity can not.

The answer is both. Noise reduction or EQ in paid plugins is way better than Audacity.

Audacity does not have a satisfactory De-Reverb to reduce room echo. Some paid plugins have that option.

Removing mouth clicks in Audacity will not produce a satisfactory result. Paid plugins perform better.

Then comes the next question. Why so many paid plugins?

Waves, iZotope RX, Acon Digital, FabFilter, Supertone, Soothe2, etc. are just a few of the options available.

Which one is better? Why is everyone not using the same if that is better?

You do not need to buy those plugins at this moment. The 3rd party plugins used in this course offer free trials.

The trial is enough during the course period. I will guide you to which plugin is best for you, depending on your recording environment and quality.

I also have licenses for those plugins, so I will give you a demo using different plugins.

Each participant will receive an individual demo based on his/her recording.
