Yesterday, I mentioned that I’ll be sharing a short series of emails featuring some of my most popular and practical tutorial series.
Yesterday’s link was for the Sound Better series.
Today, I want to share something different.
Audiobook Narration Series
Audiobook narration requires a slightly different mindset than regular voice-over.
If you want to get audiobooks done faster, correctly, and efficiently, there are certain techniques and workflow decisions that matter a lot.
Those are exactly what I’ve documented in my Audiobook Narration series.
Every step is broken down—from recording to editing to preparing files properly—so you’re not guessing your way through the process.
Even if you don’t plan to narrate audiobooks, following these steps will still help you produce consistently high-quality audio, because audiobook standards are strict for a reason.
Audiobook Narration Assignments (Now with Hindenburg)
Along with the tutorials, I’ve created a set of step-by-step assignments to help you get started quickly and efficiently.
Previously, these assignments were available only for Audacity and Adobe Audition.
I’ve now added Hindenburg, so you can submit assignments using any software you prefer.
Once you submit your assignments, I personally review them and let you know:
whether everything is done correctly, or
where small adjustments are needed
The assignments are simple, practical, and structured. When you complete all of them, audiobook narration will feel much easier—and the skills will stay with you.
You can access the assignments from my shop or Patreon page.
Year-end discount
As a year-end bonus, you can use the code 2025 to get 20% off the assignments—or any item in my shop.
Tomorrow, I’ll share another tutorial series.
