Audiobook production would be a simple process in an ideal world.

You will record your audio, export the audio file …

… and you are done.

But we do not live in that ideal world. From recording to getting the final audio file, we have to do a tons of things.

However, these things can be streamlined without much technical knowledge. You just follow some steps and you are done.

I am not against deep technical learning, but it is not everyone’s cup of cake. I helped many people on audiobook production who were unwilling to go in technical depth.

  • You record your audio with Audacity in ideal configuration

  • You have less work to do later as you recorded in ideal configuration

  • All that remain is to remove some redundant part

  • You remove those parts

  • You export the audio file
