There are 3 ways to learn audiobook narration. Each method requires a different time duration to become successful and has its own challenges.

  • Method 1: Free articles, YouTube videos and self learning. Usually takes 1 year or more to be successful in this way. Requires lots of trials and errors as many of the free tutorials misleading and lacks proper information. There is no learning sequence and no feedback. So it’s up to you to put the dots together. Lack of feedback results in lots of trial and errors. Success rate in this way is very low as people become frustrated easily.

  • Method 2: Online courses are the driver for this method. Usually, it takes 3 to 6 months to be successful in this way. I offer such courses and the time duration is based on my experience. Not everyone succeeds, but those who put in the necessary efforts become successful. Because step-by-step learning materials are available. However, keeping motivation is the main challenge. So far, all my successful students in this route put in some extra effort. For example, they bought extra personal assistance services to connect the last bits.

  • Method 3: This is the fastest and easiest way. Requires very short time like a week to a month. It is 1-1 personal training. You get instant feedback and guided learning materials. So no more guessing game if you are learning the right things or doing things correctly. However, this service is costly as requires to spent somewhat between $1500 to $3000 for personal training.
