How to make your voice sound better
It is simpler than you think
You can always make your sound better by following a simple process. It does not matter what quality recording you have; it will always have some improvement.
However, if you are thinking of truly amazing-quality audio, there are some extra processes, and I will discuss that in a moment.
So, what is the simple process of making any recording better? It is about applying these 4 effects in this order:
Normalize
Noise Reduction
EQ
Compressor
Normalize
If you apply those effects in that order, your audio is bound to improve. It does not matter which audio editing software you use, you have to follow that order.
I already have detailed videos about applying those effects correctly, and I highly recommend you check those. Even if you have previously watched those, you should revisit them for a refresher, and you will discover a new perspective.

For Audacity: https://youtu.be/m5y7DEKbcuc
You can also get those effects pre-configured with professional EQ included. It is a very efficient process, and everyone should use it. It is called macro in Audacity and preset in Adobe Audition.
You can get those from the following links (more than 700+ people are using those):

So these are about how to make your current quality audio better than what it is. But what about truly professional-quality audio?
Well, for that you have to make sure both your recording setup and audio processing steps are correct.
